UPDATE: LA County beaches in Malibu have reopened as of 3:36 p.m. following closure for lightning.
All LA County Beaches are now closed due to lightning strikes as the storm tracks North along the coast. Cabrillo Beach to Dockweiler Beach closed earlier from an initial strike at approx. 12:20 p.m. For more updates, follow @NWSLosAngeles.
